Playtech unveils details of new-look GVC casino partnership
GVC goes live with the supplier’s casino content in the UK, Spain, Italy, Georgia, Belgium and Greece
Playtech has launched its casino suite across GVC’s bwin and Sportingbet brands in the UK as the London-listed pair’s revised partnership deal begins to take effect.
Playtech renewed its B2B contract with GVC in February this year – signing an extension until 2025 – and the supplier has unveiled the intricacies of the “win-win” deal to EGR.
The deal will see Playtech’s casino offering rolled out in the UK, Spain, Italy and Georgia, across GVC brands including bwin, Sportingbet, PartyPoker, PartyCasino, Foxy Bingo, Foxy Casino and Crystalbet.
The partnership is also live in Belgium and Greece, where GVC holds a casino licence for its Sportingbet and Vistabet brands.
Playtech casino content has been live on GVC’s Ladbrokes Coral brands since the £4bn merger between the two was completed in May 2018.

GVC’s Shay Segev
GVC co-COO Shay Segev said: “Our strategic partnership with Playtech goes from strength to strength, driving growth in both of our businesses.
“Playtech’s content has already proved hugely popular with our customers where it is already live and we look forward to rolling it out in further markets over the coming months,” he added.
GVC customers will now gain access to more than 600 Playtech-branded games, including the popular Age of the Gods portfolio.

Playtech COO Shimon Akad said: “This programme of key launches represents the first stage of what we believe will be a significant, long-term partnership with GVC.
“GVC’s desire to bring Playtech’s products and services to all of its customers across its portfolio of leading brands underlines Playtech’s position as the preeminent technology partner in regulated and fast-growing markets.
“We have a longstanding partnership with GVC and we are pleased to see it grow. This deal is a real testament to the hard work of all our teams, especially the innovation of their content and services.”
The Playtech casino portfolio has also gone live in Brazil via GVC’s Betboo brand while a cross-market live casino launch is scheduled for July.
