PlayOJO makes Sweden push with Thumbs Up campaign
Casino operator extends UK marketing campaign into Sweden with a focus on responsible gambling
PlayOJO has launched its Thumbs Up marketing campaign in Sweden with a renewed focus on responsible gambling.
The Thumbs Up campaign, already live in the UK, will be broadcast across TV, radio and digital channels to highlight the operator’s safer gambling controls for Swedish players.
The new ads will not be broadcast between 4pm and 9pm after PlayOJO made a commitment in June to curb its advertising in Sweden with the gambling industry facing a consumer backlash.
The campaign will first launch across Sweden’s biggest TV channels including TV3, TV6 and Kanal 5 and will be broadcast on radio stations from September.
PlayOJO head of brand marketing Peter Bennett said: “PlayOJO is the fair casino where players are put first, and we wanted to reflect this in our latest advertising campaign in Sweden.
“The ads really drive home the controls we have in place to ensure that players are properly protected and the tools we give them to continue to play responsibly.
“We believe our Thumbs Up campaign will help further establish PlayOJO as a leading online casino destination in Sweden and the only truly fair place to play,” he added.
