Pinnacle Sports unveils streamlined mobile site
Sportsbook launches an improved mobile offering featuring new in-play match graphics feature
Pinnacle Sports has launched a new streamlined mobile site designed to offer users a faster, easier experience.
The Curacao-based firm said it has made âhuge improvementsâ to screen loading times on the updated platform, which has been made available to its global customer base.
The upgrade has also seen the addition of in-running data and visual dashboards, which the firm said would appeal to the in-play punter.
The changes to the mobile site were built internally using mature mobile technologies, such as Bootstrap, jQuery and ASP.NET, but a Pinnacle Sports spokesperson said they were ânow being leveraged in a much more efficient wayâ.
âThe exciting changes to Pinnacle Sports mobile are just the start of several significant new improvements coming in 2016 that aim to ensure our customersâ betting experience matches the unbeatable value of our odds,â Harry Lang, Pinnacle Sports, marketing director, said.
Although the sportsbook doesnât currently have an app available, Lang told EGR there would be âexciting news on app development in the very near futureâ.
Pinnacle chief executive Paris Smith recently told EGR that increasing mobile capability was one of the companyâs main aims for 2016, alongside increased targeting of markets, i.e. making the site feel more European for European customers.
Smith also said the operator was preparing to return to the UK after being forced to exit the market 18 months ago due to regulatory reasons.
