Pinnacle hires first ever brand ambassador
Sportsbook operator celebrates 20 years in business by signing former tennis champion Mats Wilander
Pinnacle has named former world number one tennis player Mats Wilander as its first ever brand ambassador.
The 53-year-old Swede, who won seven Grand Slams throughout the 1980s, will produce educational content for Pinnacle’s betting resources portal in his new ambassadorial role.
His first contribution to the site was an in-depth preview of the 2018 Australian Open tournament.
Pinnacle CEO Paris Smith said: “We’re delighted to announce our partnership with Mats and this move encapsulates Pinnacle’s emphasis on high performance.
“Whether it’s product or people that represent our brand, we want the best of the best.”
Wilander added: “Having spent my fair share of time on the tennis court, I have developed unique insights into the nuances of the game.
“I’m very excited to be able to share some of those with Pinnacle customers for this year’s major tournaments, starting with the Australian Open.”
