Parlay Entertainment signs two new Euro deals
Canada's Parlay Entertainment has signed a deal to provide software for the Lithuanian national lottery, and has launched NetPlay TV's EuroBingo gaming site.
Canada‘s Parlay Entertainment has signed a deal to provide software for the Lithuanian national lottery, and has launched NetPlay TV’s EuroBingo gaming site.
Lithuanian national lottery Olifeja is expected to launch on the Parlay5.1 platform this summer.
Olifeja head of online Mindaugas Marcinkevicius said: “Olifeja has a land-based retail network of lottery terminals, a weekly TV show and a number of unique local Lithuanian games. Only an open platform like Parlay5 gives us the level of flexibility and expandability to let us tie them together as part of a comprehensive gaming strategy.”
The Parlay5 platform will enable EuroBingo to offer its products in up to 11 languages. It currently provides them in four languages.
Parlay chief technical officer Perry Malone said: “With Parlay5, we can turn around any new language requirements within a matter of days rather than months. This gives operators the ability to enter new markets and respond to changing market demands.”
Parlay already supplies sites such as Yahoo! and the St. Minver and TGN bingo networks. As reported on EGRmagazine.com, it recently teamed with digital gaming group Entraction to launch its European-facing online bingo network (more).
NetPlay TV operates interactive gaming services under a UK gaming license. In April 2008, it acquired Bingos.com, a pan-European online bingo operator with over a million registered players.
Other recent deals with monopolies include Nyx Interactive launching online bingo for French monopoly Francaise des Jeux (FDJ) (more), CyberArts launching FDJ’s online poker product (more), and Dragonfish signed a deal with South African pari mutuel operator Phumelela Gold Enterprises to supply it with a sportsbook offering (more).
