Parimatch strikes UFC sponsorship extension
All-action partnership set to run through to 2021 following added 18-month deal
Parimatch has extended its sponsorship agreement with mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion company UFC until the end of 2021.
The Cyprus-based betting firm will continue as the official betting and wagering partner of the UFC in Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
The pair entered into their current partnership in 2018 and the relationship has seen Parimatch advertising and branding present at several major UFC events since.
The firm also has a two-year brand ambassador deal in place with UFC star Conor McGregor as first signed in February 2019.
Sergey Portnov, Parimatch CEO, said: “We took a bet when we began our relationship with the UFC in 2018 on the daring spirit of the organisation and its fighters to help elevate both our brands to new heights.
“We see that spirit in Parimatch and the values of our customers. We are excited to continue this bold journey together,” he added.
Parimatch recruited former bwin Russia CEO Dmitry Sergeev as its new CIS division chief in May.
