Parimatch lands Dota 2 tournament sponsorship
Operator to become official betting partner of EPIC League across Europe and the CIS region
Parimatch has put pen to paper on a sponsorship agreement with season two of the esports EPIC League.
The online operator will become the official betting partner of the Dota 2 competition and will be afforded advertising opportunities on the Russian broadcast of the event aired by RuHub Studio.
The EPIC League is split into two divisions across Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and will run until 13 December.
The European division boasts a prize pool of $500,000 while the CIS division holds a $50,000 purse.
Stepan Shulga, Parimatch head of esports, said: “The second season of the EPIC League promises to be the hottest event of the year.
