Paf poaches CFO from Tain
Operator's new chief exec Christer Fahlstedt recruits former colleague Per Sahlberg
Newly-appointed Paf CEO Christer Fahlstedt has raided his former employer Tain to hire Per Sahlberg as the operator’s new CFO.
Sahlberg will assume his position on 1 October, taking over from current CFO Johan Rothberg who has been promoted to deputy CEO, shifting his focus to business development.
The pair have worked together for the previous 12 years, at both platform provider Tain and Expekt.
Prior to joining Tain, Sahlberg was CFO for online gaming firm Atletico Nordic.
He will be based at the company’s head office in ??land’s capital, Mariehamn, and Fahlstedt described his new CFO as an “extremely knowledgeable and competent person”.
“Per Sahlberg has a breadth of expertise in the area of finance and extensive experience in the gaming industry which will enhance Paf’s business in an effective manner,” said Fahlstedt.
Fahlstedt was named CEO in June, taking over from Anders Ingves following his dismissal from the firm after the Paf board felt it “needed a different type of leader to successfully expand internationally”.
