PAF director Wiklund steps down
Anders Wiklund to leave à land-based operator after eight years at the company
PAF’s long-serving director Anders Wiklund is leaving the gaming operator after eight years.
Wiklund joined the à land-based gaming firm in 2007 as international sales manager, before progressing into head of B2B and head of consumer experience roles.
He has been a key director of the business for almost two and half years, and will now join Finnish medical tubing supplier Optinova as its CEO in September.
Paf chief executive Anders Ingves said the company was losing a “resourceful leader” in Wiklund.
“At the same time, in Paf we use the opportunity when someone leaves to look into working-processes from different angles. This is how organizations develop and improve,” added Ingves.
Paf said its management has already begun recruiting for Wiklund’s successor.
The group’s online business Paf.com reported a 7% increase in turnover year-on-year to 73m in April, helping to boost total group operating profit for 2013 by 24% to 30.9m.
