Paf acquires long-time bingo supplier
Åland-based operator pledges to invest in product development following Proactive acquisition
Åland-based gaming operator Paf has acquired its long-time bingo supplier Proactive Gaming Scandinavia AB.
Proactive has run the Paf bingo product since 2004, but Paf said this morning it had made the deal to gain more control over the offering.
“Bingo is an important product category for Paf, and this acquisition enables us to better manage and develop the product profile within this category and deliver more unique gaming experiences for our customers,” said CEO Christer Fahlstedt.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
“We really appreciate the broad technical expertise that Proactive has and warmly welcome our new employees in Norrköping to Paf,” Fahlstedt added.
“Since we have already worked with Proactive for several years, we know that their team will be an asset to our organisation.”

Proactive, which is based in Norrköping, Sweden, also makes poker and lottery-style games.
Earlier this year Paf introduced a new annual loss-limit for its customers, making it the “first international gaming company to introduce a fixed loss limit”, according to Paf.
