Paddys recruiting for new head of PaddyPower.com
Previous head Christopher Coyne makes internal move after 18 months in the role
Paddy Power is recruiting for a new head of its online sportsbook and gaming site, eGaming Review has learned.
The previous head of PaddyPower.com Christopher Coyne made an internal move in May to become head of competitive analysis for the operator’s digital gaming business.
Coyne had been in the role for a year and a half, having previously served as the operator’s head of gaming for more than three years.
The role incorporates Paddy Power’s online sports betting and gaming products, which helped drive the company’s online net revenue up by 29% year-on-year to 243m in the most recent financial results.
Executive headhunting firm The Up Group have been hired to fill the role.
Last month Paddy Power announced its head of operations William Reeve left after spending just over a year at the firm.
Reeve, who co-founded video rental and streaming company LOVEFiLM, took up the newly created role in September 2012 after previously holding the position of non-executive director at the operator.
His duties as head of operations included overseeing technology, risk and trading, HR and corporate strategy.
