OpenBet to grow headcount by 10%
Betting and gaming supplier says it is looking to fill 60 vacancies created by new business wins
OpenBet has launched its second major recruitment drive of the year as the supplier looks to increase its headcount with the creation of 60 additional roles.
The sportsbook and gaming supplier, which currently employs approximately 600 staffers across its London, Athens, Quebec and Sydney offices, said it expected to increase that number by 10% in the coming months.
According to OpenBet, the vacancies come as the result of new business wins – in July the firm signed a deal to provide Singapore Pools with a sports betting platform shortly after adding start-up operator Win Cash Live to its roster of clients.
To assist with the recruitment drive, the firm has produced a short corporate video featuring members of staff and highlighting what it described as the “generous benefits package” offered to new starters.
This latest recruitment drive comes after the firm added 50 new recruits in March while the company has also brought in a number of senior figures including former Betway CTO Tod Martin as chief operating officer.
“We have recently made a number of appointments across all levels of the company, but our search for the best talent in the industry and beyond remains constant,” Jeremy Thompson-Hill (pictured), OpenBet CEO, said.
“OpenBet is a fantastic company to work for and we felt that commissioning a high-quality corporate video was the perfect medium to reflect that to potential new recruits. We are extremely pleased with the results – I’m sure it will only boost our efforts,” he added.
