OpenBet targets Asia with Mahjong Logic deal
Agreement will allow UK and North America-based software provider's licensees to offer new partner's mahjong products.
OpenBet licensees will now be able to offer online mahjong products after the software provider signed a partnership agreement with Mahjong Logic.
The deal will see OpenBet target the Asian market, with the company’s commercial partner manager Max Francis saying “As the Asian market continues to grow it is important to facilitate and extend customer choice.”
OpenBet has carried out little activity in Asia to date, although AGTech and Ladbrokes’ Chinese-facing joint venture AGT developed its Lucky Racing game and platform in association with the UK and North America-based company.
It is one of a number of new agreements signed by Mahjong Logic since the solutions provider secured an upgrade of its Isle of Man egaming licence to cover B2B capabilities.
In the intervening period the company has also signed a deal with London’s Hippodrome Casino with a view to launching a mahjong offering on the venue’s soon-to-launch online site.
