OpenBet sharpens product focus with senior appointment
Former software development director for the web channel of Amazon Instant Video assumes newly-created chief product officer role
OpenBet has appointed digital marketing veteran Joe Eldridge to the newly-created role of chief product officer.
Eldridge joins the sportsbook and gaming platform supplier from Amazon next month and will take responsibility for the company’s core product strategy and driving product innovation.
At Amazon he was the software development director for the web channel of Amazon Instant Video, leading the development teams responsible for the creation and innovative evolution of desktop, mobile, and tablet web interfaces on LOVEFiLM, Amazon, and IMDb sites.
Prior to Amazon Eldridge spent five years as a co-founder of venture capital backed PermissionTV and 11 years at Omnicom’s digital marketing and technology professional services firm, Agency.com.
His appointment will see OpenBet increase focus on in defining, strengthening and implementing OpenBet’s product strategy as well as product innovation.
