OpenBet names former Betway exec as new COO
Software supplier appoints Tod Martin to the senior role and hires former NEKTAN product director Dominic Le Garsmeur as casino VP
OpenBet has boosted its senior management team with the appointment of former Betway chief technology officer (CTO) Tod Martin as its new chief operating officer and Nektan’s product director Dominic Le Garsmeur as casino vice president.
Martin joins the omni-channel supplier from Betway, where he worked as CTO for 18 months until April, and assumes the position previously vacated by OpenBet’s current CEO Jeremy Thompson-Hill.
Prior to working at Betway, Martin was CTO at PartyGaming for three years and later for bwin.party where he led the integration of bwin and PartyGaming products and technology teams across Europe and Asia following the merger in 2011.
“OpenBet’s industry leading position in omni-channel solutions, combined with a strong client base and outstanding delivery record, place us well for continued innovation and success,” Martin said.
Joining Martin at the London-based supplier is Dominic Le Garsmeur who takes up the position of casino vice president having previously held senior product roles at both bwin.party and mobile developer NEKTAN.
Thompson-Hill said he was confident the new appointments would bring a wealth of experience to the company, as it looks to continue to expand.
“These appointments should be seen as a measure of our intent to grow in new areas and new markets,” Thompson-Hill said.
“But our recruitment plans don’t end here – we are looking to bring in talent across the company to drive and handle expansion from new business,” he added.
