Oddsmatrix and Eyecon awarded AGCC licences
Latest licensees receive Foreign Gambling Associate Certificate and Category 2 licence respectively.
Everymatrix-owned sportsbook solution provider Oddsmatrix and Australian software company Eyecon have become the latest companies to be awarded accreditation by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission.
Oddsmatrix has been approved for a Foreign Gambling Associate Certificate while Eyecon’s Category 2 licence “Authorises the effecting of the gambling transaction including operational management of a gambling platform located within an approved hosting centre,” as per Alderney’s regulatory regime.
The licences are the first to be awarded since the Channel Island regulator issued a new set of guidelines for its Category 1 licensees, ordering all operators licensed in the jurisdiction to guarantee the segregation of player funds and submit financial reports on a monthly, rather than quarterly, basis.
Both Oddsmatrix, which has sportsbook supply deals in place with the likes of Tower Gaming and CTXM, and Eyecon, which signed a distribution agreement with NextGen last year, applied for their licences in April.
