Oddschecker Insights: Marathonbet scores Euro 2016 final victory
Online bookmaker's 8/1 on Portugal and 6/1 on France helped it secure nearly two-thirds of new customer clicks yesterday
Marathonbet emerged victorious on Oddschecker on the final day of Euro 2016 after securing nearly two-thirds of new customer offer clicks via the odds comparison site.
According to exclusive data from the sports betting affiliate, Marathonbet won 63% of new clicks yesterday after offering 8/1 on Portugal and 6/1 on France to win in 90 minutes.
The online bookmaker was also consistently best price at 7.4 for a goalless draw after 90 minutes, which came to fruition last night at the Stade de France, before a shortening of the price saw 188BET lead the market as kick-off approached.

“Portugal were 22/1 at the start of the tournament so the outcome will leave most bookies smiling especially given such an expensive year to date following Cheltenham and Leicester’s Premier League success,” Guy Harding, head of commercial at Oddschecker, told EGR.
“With regards to new customer offer resonance over the weekend BetVictor and Marathonbet reigned victorious,” Harding added.
From a new customer clicks perspective, BetVictor’s ambitious ‘The Million Pound Goal’ offer helped the operator win more than two-thirds on Saturday, while Ladbrokes reigned supreme yesterday with a 14% share of all customer clicks.
