Bet365 continues to set new market share records at the top of the Oddschecker top ten, extending its lead over second-placed Betfair to more than 4%.
Its 19.5% market share is a new high, while Betfair’s 15.2% is still more than six percentage points ahead of third-placed Paddy Power.
Money-back specials around the Cheltenham festival helped the Irish firm cling onto third place, extending the gap between itself and fourth-placed William Hill to 0.5% in the overall rankings.
But it was still behind Bet365 in the horse-racing market, with the Stoke-based firm enjoying a 23.5% share of market clicks.
Elsewhere, in a busy month for major sporting competitions, Betfair edged the international football and cricket World Cup markets with 17% and 20% respectively.
Betting on the Six Nations was similarly close as the rugby tournament drew to a close, with Bet365, Betfair and Paddy Power separated by less than 1%.
Lower down the list, Victor Chandler dropped below Stan James into sixth despite gaining 9% of football betting slips on the back of their recent advertising campaign.
The only other climbers were Boylesports, that overtook Skybet and rose to eighth with an overall market share of 4.9%.
