Oddschecker launches new Studs Up podcast
Sky Bet’s Oli Bell joins footballer Charlie Austin to present new video pod focused on football and horseracing
Oddschecker has launched a new video podcast as it gets marketing material underway ahead of this year’s Cheltenham Festival.
The podcast will be sponsored by Sky Bet and is called Studs Up. It will be hosted by Sky Bet and ITV Racing’s Oli Bell alongside QPR striker Charlie Austin.
Each week, the pair will host a new guest from the world of football with a passion for horseracing, much like Austin himself.
Sky Bet head of sports PR Michael Shinners said: “Here at Sky Bet we can’t wait to listen to the very first episode of Studs Up.
“In partnership with our friends at oddschecker, we think we’ve landed on a brilliant racing podcast that will appeal to hardcore football fans and festival goers alike.
“With Premier League star Charlie Austin and our very own Oli Bell leading the line together, the build-up to this year’s Cheltenham Festival will be full of shrewd analysis, top drawer guest interviews and lots of laughs,” he added.
Studs Up marks oddschecker’s first full foray into sponsored content and will run weekly in the build up to the Cheltenham Festival in March.
The first episode will go live on 28 January on YouTube and various podcasting platforms.
