NYX Gaming strikes supply deal with planetwin365
Operator will launch on the NYX Poker platform by the end of the year, supplier also confirms acquisition of eGaming Consulting for 7.5m
NYX Gaming Group has struck a deal with planetwin365 and the SKS365 Group to supply the operator with an online poker platform and casino games for its Italy-facing business.
The five-year deal will start with the launch of a planetwin365-branded poker site on the NYX Poker platform in Q4, which the supplier said would “significantly enhance” the network’s player liquidity.
NYX also announced it had acquired eGaming Consulting, which previously supplied planetwin365 with its gaming operations, for 7.5m.
The supplier said the current eGaming Consulting team in Belgrade will augment NYX’s existing poker operations, leading to an overall reduction in costs as the two teams were integrated.
“We are proud to have reached an agreement with planetwin365, which operate an online sport book and gaming business that has shown impressive growth within the highly competitive gaming industry,” NYX Gaming CEO Matt Davey, said.
“This B2B deal and related acquisitions are important steps to meeting our commitment to shareholders to restructure Ongame and achieve cash flow breakeven for that division by the end of 2015 or early Q1 2016,” he added.
The supplier entered the Italian market for the first time in May after acquiring Rome-based development studio Game360 for an undisclosed sum.
The deal comes after NYX completed its £80m acquisition of Chartwell and Cryptologic from Amaya Gaming last week, having acquired its Ongame poker network back in November last year.
