NYX acquires Bonnier's Cashball operating arm
Bingo software provider NYX Interactive has acquired bingo network operator Cashball from Bonnier Lottery for an undisclosed amount.
Bingo supplier NYX Interactive has acquired Isle of Man-licensed bingo network operator Cashball from Bonnier Lottery, the gaming subsidiary of Swedish media giant Bonnier Group.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
NYX chief executive Staffan Lindgren said the move into the operator space would give his business “a unique market position” while allowing Bonnier Lottery to focus “on the parts of the business that are closer to Bonnier’s core values, such as marketing channels, content and brands.”
Bonnier’s Isle of Man-licensed operating arm and white label service provider was launched in 2008 and services a number of clients in Spain, Sweden and the UK.
Cashball’s acquisition by NYX follows their recent collaboration to launch the Amuso-branded trivia gaming network with embedded bingo and side games.
NYX has been nominated in two categories for this year’s eGaming Review B2B Awards: bingo supplier of the year and innovation in bingo. The B2B Awards will take place on the first night of EGR Live, eGaming Review’s free conference and exhibition in London this month.
