Blue Square has launched a new betting app for the iPhone, which refreshes live prices to help with in-play betting. A live betting widget within the app will allow users to gain instant access to live betting odds as events are going on, and customers can place bets direct from the app’s homepage. The app is available to both new and existing customers, with existing customers able to use the same login details as for Blue Square’s online platform, provided they are based in the UK or Ireland.
Casino Matrix, the latest product from Swedish developer Jadestone, will be launched at ICE this week. An online gaming system which allows users to play four separate casino games on one screen through a grid system, Casino Matrix also allows external content to be played on one of its four screens so users can watch Youtube videos or log into facebook while simultaneously playing slots games.
UK-based developer Barcrest has announced it will be supplying Ladbrokes with new scratchcard and slots games. Both music-based slots game ‘Progressive Rock’ and scratchcard offering ‘Rainbow Riches: Scratch to Match’ are set to go live before the end of January.
International Game Technology (IGT) has teamed up with MGM Resorts International on a new slots game for the iPhone. The ‘Cleopatra’ game will go live as part of MGM’s ‘M Life Players Club’ app, making it the first offering from US-based developer IGT to launch on a smartphone platform.
