Gaming developer Greentube has gained accreditation by independent player protection and standards body eCOGRA. Eberhard Dürrschmid, chief executive of Greentube, said: “We have recently passed the test for European Gambling and Betting Association standards, which are equally stringent, and that certainly helped prepare us for that aspect of the inspection. We’re very pleased that we were successful in achieving the demanding eCOGRA standards.

Three land-based casino operators, Casino du Golfe, JOA and Tranchant Groupe, have received online poker licences from French egaming regulator ARJEL. The three operators will sit on Playtech‘s French iPoker network. According to a report by eGaming Review‘s French media partner iGaming France, NetBet, owned by ITECHSOFT, was barred from displaying its logo on the kit of Ligue 1 French team Montpellier at the weekend, due to it not being licensed by ARJEL to offer either online sports betting or poker.
