New MD for Cashcade, Collins and Southon stay with Party
Collins and Southon to establish venture capital fund with PartyGaming, while fellow founder Rowse takes up reins at Foxy.
Noel Rowse has replaced Patrick Southon as MD of Foxy Bingo operator Cashcade, with Southon and fellow founder Simon Collins being backed by Cashcade owner PartyGaming to establish an egaming venture capital fund.
Former operations director Rowse (pictured) was part of the founding team of Cashcade 10 years ago, with his wife Saira being credited with coming up with the Foxy Bingo name, the UK’s leading online bingo brand.
A PartyGaming spokesman also confirmed to eGaming Review that Collins and Southon would be extending their association with PartyGaming, which acquired the UK’s biggest online bingo business in July 2009.
“Simon and Patrick are working in association with us to establish a fund aimed at spotting new opportunities in digital entertainment, with relevance to our existing business verticals, of sports, bingo, casino and poker. Simon and Patrick are going back to their true entrepreneurial roots, to when they started Cashcade,” said the spokesman.
A date for the formal establishment of the new fund has yet to be confirmed.
