Net Entertainment launches games on Android
Seven games already available on iOS " future games will be offered on both platforms.
Net Entertainment has launched its seven mobile casino games on Android devices, with all future games to be made available for both Android and iOS platforms.
The first wave NetEnt Touch games, including Gonzo’s Quest and Jack Hammer, were released for iPhones and iPads in late 2011, and the same titles will now also be available on Android devices.
Per Eriksson, president and CEO of Net Entertainment, said of the launch: “We are committed to making sure that our mobile games remain world leading and the natural next step for us was to launch them on Android devices. Android is narrowing the gap with iOS and we see great growth potential in both operating systems.”
The Swedish software provider agreed a deal earlier in the year to provide gaming and casino content to BoyleSports for the operator’s desktop and mobile platforms as part of a continued drive to increase NetEnt’s presence in the UK under Eriksson, who became chief executive in March.
In July, NetEnt saw revenues reach record levels with a 33% year-on-year increase in H1 2012.
