NeoGames in deal with Portuguese lottery
Scratchcards and instant win games launched for Santa Casa's Raspadinha brand
NeoGames has signed a deal with Portuguese lottery operator Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML) to provide SCML with a range of scratchcards and instant win games.
The launch will be under the Raspadinha brand, which the monopoly operator is using to bring its offering to an online audience. The games have been localised and adjusted in a move NeoGames CEO Ilan Rosen described as “a key factor” in the success of the lottery.
“The games selected by the lottery, with the assistance and recommendation of NeoGames, and the joint marketing efforts will contribute to additional growth in the scratch card segment of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa,” Rosen said.
Fernando Paes Afonso, CEO and Vice-President of SCML, expressed his “excitement” at the deal, which he said bolsters his firm’s “fastest growing product segment”.
In addition to providing SCML with a portfolio of games, NeoGames will also work with the lottery’s marketing department in order to “jointly create growth programs for the interactive scratch category”.
The agreement follows the launch of the software and services provider’s bingo platform in February, which it has said will be specifically targeted at national lotteries and regulated markets.
