Nektan to power Kerching online casino
Casino operator Kerching sets aside £5m for marketing as it looks to boost player acquisition over the next two years
Gaming platform provider Nektan has sealed its fourth major deal of the year after agreeing to supply UK-facing casino operator Kerching with its desktop and mobile gaming platform.
Kerching, which is licensed by both Alderney and Great Britain, has already begun migrating its real-money desktop customers on to the Nektan platform, and will start to transition its mobile player base in Q2.
To coincide with the partnership, Kerching has set aside £5m for marketing in a bid to drive customer acquisition over the next two years.
“Combining our proven acquisition expertise with Nektan’s market leading real-money gaming content and platform will undoubtedly lead to a highly productive partnership with Kerching and its customers,” Warren Jacobs, MD of Active Win Media, who manage Kerching’s marketing, said.
The deal with Kerching comes shortly after Nektan announced that British tabloid newspaper The Sun would be using its technology to launch a real-money mobile casino called Sun Play.
“We are delighted that the team at Kerching selected Nektan as their gaming partner of choice. It is also excellent to see a well-established gaming operator endorse our gaming platform,” David Gosen, Nektan CEO, said.
“Our core competency of delivering end-to-end, real-money, gaming solutions is clearly resonating strongly with operators and brand owners alike, as they look to generate revenues and deeper engagement with their customers.”
Netkan has signed similar deals with City A.M and Channel 4, and recently launched an initial public offering on London’s Alternative Investment Market.
