Niclas Enhörning leaves operator after overseeing development of new tech platform to start new business venture
Niclas Enhörning has left his position as CEO of Mr Green’s technology subsidiary to start up his new business, the company announced this morning.
Enhörning, who joined the operator back in 2014, will be replaced by Stefan Gustafsson who has taken up the role as acting CEO of Mr Green & Co Technology.
During his time with the firm, Enhörning oversaw the development of Mr Green’s new technology platform, launched earlier this year and designed to provide a more unique user experience.
“I would like to express my appreciation for his work and would like to wish him all the best in his future career,” Per Norman, CEO of Mr Green, said.
“With the new technology platform, we can quickly implement new features and improve the development of our data-driven customer communications.
“Through the technology platform we have been able to develop a new business strategy which we are now implementing.”
Acting CEO Gustafsson has held numerous senior positions within the IT sector, including CIO at Elon Group and roles at pay TV operator Boxer and telecom firm Com Hem.
Mr Green recently revealed plans to grow its revenues and EBITDA by 20% each year after securing its switch to Nasdaq Stockholm’s main list.
In other Mr Green news, the operator’s Italian-facing site has integrated NYX Gaming Group’s casino content via the supplier’s Game360 platform.
“Following a successful integration NYX, we are able to offer a comprehensive and engaging selection of mobile and desktop games certified for the regulated Italian market,” Andrew Crosby, head of casino at Mr Green, said.
