Mobile growth continues for NetPlay
Channel now accounts for nearly one third of new depositing players - FY expected to be "ahead of market expectations".
NetPlay TV is anticipating its full-year results to come in ahead of market expectations, the SuperCasino operator revealed in its fourth-quarter trading update.
Much of the growth is as a result of a strong mobile performance, with 31% of new depositors attributed to smartphones and tablets.
Consequently mobile and tablet revenues have more than trebled compared to Q4 2011, when just 8% of new depositors came through such devices.
In January 2011 the operator added live roulette to its SuperCasino iPad app, with the number of new depositing casino players in Q4 2011 rising by 27.2% to 9,227, and the fourth quarter of 2012 saw a further year-on-year increase of 51% in new depositors, with the Q4 2012 figure of 13,974 meaning the total has almost doubled over the course of two years.
Meanwhile the number of active depositing casino players has risen to 25,376, a year-on-year rise of 43% and a 13% increase quarter-on-quarter.
The operator claims the strong performance is due in part to its latest TV adverts, which emphasise the ability to access its SuperCasino and Jackpot247 brands via mobile and tablet devices.
