Mobile and B2B boost France Pari revenues
Group revenues soar 43% year-on-year with mobile channel now accounting for 40% of total revenues
French sports betting operator France Pari recorded a 43% year-on-year increase in Q4 2014 revenues after a strong performance from its mobile product and B2B division, Sportnco.
The Paris-based firm reported a total revenue increase of 5.4m in the three months ended 31 December 2014 to 17.9m, up from 12.5m in the same period in 2013.
Revenue from sports increased 46% year-on-year to 15.8m following the launch of France Pari’s new mobile apps which saw the channel’s revenue contribution increase from 3% in 2013 to 31%, or 40% when including tablets.
France Pari said it now plans to launch a range of new tablet-optimised products in H1 2015 and more than a dozen mobile sites and applications during the year.
“2014 has been a very successful year for France Pari, both on the B2C and B2B sides,” Hervé Schlosser, France Pari CEO and chairman, told eGaming Review.
“We are also extremely pleased with the performance of our B2B division Sportnco whose revenues have doubled this year to exceed 1m,” he added.
Horseracing betting revenue decreased by 9% year-on-year despite margins remaining steady at 23.7%, while sports betting margins increased marginally from 19.2% in 2013 to 19.6%.
France Pari’s B2B division Sportnco continued to grow strongly after revenues doubled year-on-year from 0.54m in 2013 to 1.05m in 2014 following international expansion and the launch of three new platforms in Q2 2014.
The operator said it hoped to expand its international presence during the year with new deals expected in Europe and Africa.
“We will focus in 2015 on developing and delivering top-quality smartphones and tablets apps for France Pari and our B2B customer, to position ourselves more and more as one of the specialists of mobile betting, for European and African markets,” Schlosser said.
