Mobile reducing seasonality, says Evolution Gaming
CEO Jens von Bahr credits increase in mobile revenues as âmain driving forceâ behind break in seasonal variations
Evolution Gaming said an increased share of mobile revenues was reducing seasonality as the live casino supplier posted strong Q3 results.
The firm said 28% of revenues it generated for its partnered operators came via its mobile platform during Q3, an absolute increase of more than 260% year-on-year.
And CEO Jens von Bahr added that the greater reliance on mobile was also having benefits beyond simply driving growth.
âLast year saw a break in the trend regarding seasonal variations, with reduced activity in the summer â this was confirmed this year and it is clear that mobile is the main driving force,â von Bahr said.
Evolution reported a 57% increase in revenues to â¬19.5m for the three months to 30 September, alongside a 60% rise in EBITDA to â¬7.8m.
