Mindway AI enters Dutch market with responsible gambling solution
Tech firm’s GameScanner software will work behind the scenes to alert operators when customer gambling behaviour spirals
Mindway AI will support its customers with a new responsible gambling solution for the newly regulated Dutch market.
Having closely followed the regulatory developments in the Netherlands, the RG solutions provider says it has built up a clear picture of the challenges that operators are facing in the country.
Holland Casino and HANDS 24×7 (for the Loket Kansspel website – the Dutch National Helpline on Responsible Gambling) are Mindway AI’s existing customers in the Netherlands.
Mindway AI is an associated member of Dutch trade association VAN Kansspelen.
“The Dutch online market regulation is a natural next step as we also saw it happening in Germany earlier this year,” said Mindway AI CEO Rasmus Kjaergaard.
“With the opening of the Dutch market, software solutions to monitor gambling and to create self-awareness in gamblers are even more important as the human contact is more difficult online, but gamblers still need to be protected from developing unhealthy gambling behaviour.
“We are ready to help our existing customers with our expertise and solutions and, of course, also embrace new customers in creating responsible and sustainable gambling set-ups,” he added.
Mindway AI’s GameScanner software works behind the scenes and will alert operators when the algorithm detects harmful gambling behaviour, allowing for intervention with certain customers.
