Microgaming to build new Isle of Man HQ
Construction begins on new five-story office to accommodate growing headcount and business
Microgaming has begun construction on a new “state-of-the-art” office on the Isle of Man to accommodate the gaming supplier’s growing business.
The new five-storey building will sit adjacent to Microgaming’s existing office, MGS House, and both buildings will be joined by a tower walkway.
Microgaming said the new office has been designed to provide “employees with the environment needed to thrive in business” and the office space will be open plan and laid out with staff in mind.
“Since we set up our global head office on the Isle of Man in 2001, we have grown at an incredible rate,” Roger Raatgever (pictured), Microgaming CEO, said.
“We now have over 160 people in our building here on the island, and we expect this number to grow significantly over the next few years.
“The establishment of a new building not only shows our commitment to the island, but our commitment to look after our staff, to create an office environment that is employee-focused, suited to our fun and energetic culture, and that fosters innovation and creativity,” he added.
Local architects Savage & Chadwick took the lead role in designing the new building, with Manx-based Auldyn Construction tasked with carrying out the work.
Construction on the new office began on 7 April and is expected to complete in 2017.
