Marathonbet climbs into Oddschecker rankings with aggressive pricing
Operator ranked ninth in total click-share, while bet365 and Betfair continued to lead the market
Marathonbet jumped into the top 10 in Oddschecker’s overall click-share rankings for the first time in September, on the back of strong football pricing.
The Brighton-based operator climbed three spots for August into 9th place in the rankings, with a 3.45% click-share.
Its success was built on football clicks, where the operator ranked 7th with 5.6% of clicks.
Oddschecker attributed the firm’s success to an aggressive pricing strategy, which has seen Marathonbet offer the tightest overround on each Premier League week so far.
Elsewhere, bet365 continued to lead the overall rankings, with a 16.62% market share, while Betfair climbed above Sky Bet into second place, with 10.08% of clicks from the Sportsbook and Exchange combined.
Elsewhere, Sky established itself as the market leader for NFL in the first month of the season, attracting 13.3% of clicks, ahead of William Hill with 10.6%.
Hills also did well from the GGG/Canelo Alvarez fight ranking second in the market with 11.57% of clicks, behind only bet365 with 16.03%.
