Low6 co-founder Wayne Stevenson set to leave the company after five years
Industry veteran departs free-to-play games developer following its announcement of the roll out of its B2B operator solution earlier this month.
Low6 co-founder Wayne Stevenson has left his role as director of the free-to-play (F2P) games developer after five years in the role.
Stevenson made the announcement via his LinkedIn page, where he thanked everyone at the company and spoke of his great successes during his time there, namechecking deals with the Professional Darts Corporation and the UFC, among others.
“ It has been my life for the last five years building the business from an idea, creating an award winning company in the process,” Stevenson said.
Earlier this month, Low6 unveiled its debut B2B solution utilising its gamification technology, which is now being offered as a full turnkey B2B product.
In his LinkedIn post, Stevenson also multiple members of the Low6 team as well as his co-founder, Jamie Mitchell.
Stevenson continued: “ I’d like to thank Jamie Mitchell. What a journey it has been, the sleepless nights in the early days with the pressures of a startup, the trips including Seville and Sofia, the successes, the challenges and the friendship we have built.
“The company would never be what it is today without you. I wish you and Low6 all the success in the future,” he added.
In response to the comments made by Stevenson, Mitchell said: “From 52-page investor decks to funding on Christmas Eve, we did it all! Your knowledge of the industry, your stellar reputation and insight into the world of igaming really has set Low6 apart from the rest. I’ve no doubt your next journey will be as exciting. As a co-founder, I couldn’t wish for anyone better.”
Stevenson boasts a wealth of industry experience, having previously worked at companies such as Betfred and Ladbrokes.
