LeoVegas lands Wembley sponsorship deal
Operator signs agreement with The SSE Arena, Wembley, while also tying up pitch-side deals ahead of sportsbook launch
LeoVegas has signed a year-long sponsorship deal with Wembley Arena as the casino operator continues to invest in building brand recognition in the UK market.
The agreement will see LeoVegas branding appear on the digital LED screens both inside and outside the arena, otherwise known as The SSE Arena, Wembley, for a minimum of six times every hour during all events.
The arena, which is situated in the shadow of Wembley Stadium, is one of the country’s most iconic concert and event venues and one LeoVegas country manager Shenaly Amin said was a perfect fit for the brand.
“The iconic venue hosts some of the most in-demand events in the UK and the excitement created by these aligns perfectly with the LeoVegas brand,” Amin said.
“The SSE Arena, Wembley is an ideal place to expose the LeoVegas brand to new audiences, a key aim since our launch in the UK two years ago,” she added.
In addition, the firm also announced it had secured pitch-side advertising spots during the RBS Six Nations Championship and four fixtures during the remainder of the Barclays Premier League.
The pitch-side spots come after the operator last month announced plans to launch a sportsbook, LeoVegas Sports, with third-party partner Kambi.
The sportsbook is due to launch ahead of this summer’s European Championships.
