LeoVegas goes live with Denmark-facing sportsbook
Operator continues its expansion into the Danish market following the launch of its online casino last year
LeoVegas today expanded its Denmark-facing product portfolio with the launch of a new sportsbook in time for the start of the country’s new football season.
The Kambi-powered LeoVegas Sport will offer approximately 100,000 betting markets on more than 40 different sports in Denmark.
The launch comes just one week before the start of the Danish Superligaen, the country’s highest football division, and follows the launch of the LeoVegas online casino last year.
LeoVegas Group CEO, Gustaf Hagman, said the operator aimed to offer Danish customers the “fastest and most engaging” sports betting experience in the market.
“The launch of LeoVegas’ casino has been very successful and LeoVegas has established itself as a brand in Denmark,” he said.
Hagman added: “We see a clear growth potential for Sports and strengthening, with today’s launch, our offer in the Danish market.
“In parallel with the launch of Sport, we have invested in our Live Casino where we now offer the market’s best live experience with the widest product range and exclusive tables for LeoVegas customers.”
LeoVegas made its debut in the Danish market last year after receiving a gaming licence from the regulator in October.
In addition to the Danish licences, LeoVegas has licences in Malta, Great Britain, Italy and Ireland.
