LeoVegas appoints Jarl Modén as permanent CPO
Former head of product for the operator takes on permanent senior management role
LeoVegas has appointed Jarl Modén as the group’s permanent chief product officer after being in the position since October.
Moden’s career background includes stints at Ladbrokes, Entraction and IGT. He has held a number of roles at LeoVegas including product management and head of product.
Group CEO Gustaf Hagman said Modén was the perfect person to build LeoVegas’ product portfolio, which together with the tech operations, accounts for a quarter of the operator’s workforce.
Modén said: “Ever since I started with LeoVegas, I’ve always been extremely impressed and inspired by the amazing growth and drive of my colleagues in developing the best mobile gaming experience in the market.
“I look very much forward to work in my new role as CPO and will continue to build the leading product organisation in the industry and accelerate our product innovation further.”
The CPO position was added to the firm’s senior management in Q3 and Modén was appointed to the role during the interim.
The appointment continues a busy month of December for LeoVegas, after the operator acquired a casino streaming network, and made drastic cuts to its UK affiliate programme.
