Leander to offer slots to Alderney licensees
Games developer granted Alderney Core Service Provider Associate Certificate by regulator
Leander Games is to expand its operations into Alderney after the island’s gambling regulator accepted its application for a Core Service Provider Associate Certificate.
The online games developer and platform provider, founded in Buenos Aires in 2008, can now provide its entire portfolio of games to any operator licenced in the jurisdiction, after receiving the green light from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC).
Steven Matsell, Leander Games CEO since October, said the company was “very pleased” to have obtained the certificate. “We are really pushing the company to grow significantly and apart from it being a seal of credibility for our company, it really enables us to offer our content to some of the largest gambling operators in the world,” he said.
The news comes after Leander was awarded the Social Gaming Supplier of the Year prize at the recent eGaming Review B2B Awards, which Matsell said at the time recognised Leander as being “at the forefront of delivering to social gaming”. The company launched its online slots portfolio in the Belgian market earlier this month following a deal with Circus Groupe.
