A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry including Sportradar and Sky Bet
Sports data provider Sportradar has agreed a deal with Kicktipp to supply the online prediction game operator with its Sportradar Media Service’s Live Scores and Statistics.
The deal came into force on 1 January and enables Kicktipp to incorporate live scores and statistics via its XML feed online and on mobile.
“We look forward to this partnership and are delighted that Kicktipp has chosen Sportradar Media Services for the data integration on its platforms,” Andreas Meyer, sales director at Sportradar, said.
“With our high quality data we are confident to provide all the necessary information needed to make this a successful partnership and help Kicktipp to strengthen its position and improve their business,” he added.
Gambling crowdfunding and crowdsourcing platform provider GamCrowd has announced the launch of its new Incubator service, providing new resources to better prepare start-ups for the crowdfunding process.
The new Incubator service is available in return for equity in the business and includes more in-depth appraisal of the business model, targeted introductions and marketing advice.
“We wanted to get GamCrowd out there and learn from the experience that you can only get by operating a business,” Chris North, CEO of GamCrowd, said.
“It has always been our intention to build a virtual incubator by introducing crowdsourcing to the platform, and this new development allows us to add even more value to some select start-ups who we will then support all the way through their development,” he added.
Sky Betting & Gaming has added a new feature to its smartphone app called Bet Tracker, replacing the app’s old cash out function.
Bet Tracker was added to the app in the lead up to Christmas and brings the app’s cash out, bet status and match statistics function under one button on the app’s front page.
Customers can now access Bet Tracker to keep tabs on their open bets, see how a match is unfolding through the use of real time statistics and cash out on in-running bets.
Austrian real-money online casino operator win2day has partnered with B2B social gaming provider OpenWager to launch its first social casino product.
The free-to-play casino app Spintopia was launched last month on Facebook, iOS and Android and is available to play in the UK, US, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.
“Spintopia complements a breathtaking entertainment experience that win2day is known for,” Emmerich Hager, head of business development and operations at win2day, said.
Sportech‘s Connecticut-facing horserace wagering platform MyWinners.com has signed an affiliate marketing deal with Income Access.
Under the deal, MyWinners’ new affiliate program will integrate with Income Access’ platform and will be managed by the firm’s acquisition team, who will also develop a media buy strategy.
Sportech was granted permission to exclusively operate online wagering on horseracing in Connecticut back in December 2012, with MyWinners.com launching in April 2013.
Daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has inked a deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves to become the National Basketball Association (NBA) team’s official fantasy sports partner.
Under the deal, the DraftKings logo will appear courtside at the Timberwolves’ Target Center home stadium, as well as on the TimberWolves.com website.
DraftKings will also be a presenting partner on The Timberwolves podcast WolfCast, and take part in a number of social media promotions.
The Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp (OLG) has completed the soft-launch of its real-money gaming site to players across the Canadian province.
PlayOLG, which has been developed with platform partner GTECH, offers slots and table games such as blackjack and roulette, as well as lottery tickets, poker, bingo, and sports wagering.
“We are excited to launch PlayOLG, an important milestone in the modernization of gaming in Ontario,” John Wisternoff, OLG’s VP of iGaming, said.
