A round-up of the latest launches and sign-ups in egaming including NYX Gaming Group, Kiron Interactive and Genius Sports
NYX Gaming Group has been approved to bring its content to British Columbia for the first time after being granted an unconditional registration as a Class B Supplier by the region’s Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB).
The NYX sportsbook technology business, OpenBet, was certified in Canada in 2012, where it has longstanding partnerships with BCLC, Loto-Québec and the Atlantic Lottery Corporation.
Matt Davey, Group CEO NYX Gaming Group, said the company was “delighted to have been granted a supplier licence in British Columbia”.
“Bringing NYX Gaming Group content to market in a growing and highly regulated jurisdiction like British Columbia is evidence of the synergies we are driving through our integration work with OpenBet,” said Davey.
Virtual games supplier Kiron Interactive has been awarded a Combined Remote Operating Licence by the UK Gambling Commission.
The licence means Kiron can provide a fixed odds betting service by remote communication (online) on virtual sports and games.
It also allows the supplier to offer its Betman Online RGS system on a fully managed and hosted basis to UK operators, which integrates seamlessly with their player wallet systems.

Genius Sports, in partnership with the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), has launched an upgraded version of its LiveStats Webcast product.
New features released for the 2016-17 basketball season include an updated live video tab that creates a full second screen viewing experience, new statistics including comparisons between team leaders throughout the duration of a game as well as several new languages.
Over the past decade, Genius Sports has worked alongside the world governing body of basketball, to provide the live data experience for basketball fans in over 120 countries, covering up to 1,000 games a week.

Instant Win Gaming (IWG) has been certified by the NMi for its remote gaming server, which will support the firm’s entry unto new lottery jurisdictions.
The collaboration with NMi has enabled IWG to complete its first remote game server integration with a US lottery operator through a deal with Michigan Lottery, adding to its services in Canada and Europe.

Games provider iSoftBet has unveiled its latest branded title based on the horror film Paranormal Activity, in what the firm describes as its “scariest” slot game.
The five-reel, three rows slot incorporates the same haunting themes from the horror franchise, and includes intense sound effects alongside WILDs, BONUS, Free Spins and SCATTERs.

A new online training module designed to provide gambling advertisers with the tools required to produce ads that comply with the Advertising Codes has been launched by the Committee of Advertising Practice (CAP).
The âResponsible Ads: Gambling Advertising’ module allows readers to learn about the advertising rules and how they apply from the experts who write the Code, and includes real-life rulings and interactive questions.
The course includes sections on how to present the terms and conditions of any claims and promotions in marketing communications, the rules on creating ads that appeal to children and other areas of social responsibility, and guidance on how betting tipsters can remain responsible when promoting their services.
