A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry, including EveryMatrix and Odobo
Sports data provider Sporting Solutions has entered into an agreement with EveryMatrix to provide the supplier with new data feeds for its OddsMatrix sportsbook solution.
The feeds will cover various sports and introduce new ones, such as boxing, cricket and Australian Rules Football as it hopes to compete in regions including the UK, Ireland and Australia.
“[EveryMatrix] has some big clients and want to improve the product they offer them, so our rich heritage in modelling, pricing and trading means we are the perfect partner to help them achieve that,” Ronnie Whelan, business development director at Sporting Solutions, said.
Game development program Odobo has struck a deal with development studio Athens-based Vermantia.
The deal will see Vermantia become part of the Odobo Developer Program and will include the launch of five initial games such as Candylicious.
“Vermantia brings both prestige and experience to the Odobo Marketplace,” Odobo founder and CEO, Ashley Lang, said
“With a great portfolio and understanding of real-money gaming, we’re looking forward to supporting the delivery of their outstanding games,” he added.
iSoftBet has agreed a deal with fellow software supplier EveryMatrix which will see its range of more than 80 online and HTML5 mobile slots games hosted on the CasinoEngine platform.
The titles will include iSoftBet original slots as well as branded content from other studios, with EveryMatrix CEO Ebbe Groes stating it to be the first time the supplier has been able to offer branded content to its licensees.
“We’ve developed a strong partnership with iSoftBet over the course of the integration and their strong mobile content and branded games are sure to be a success with our customers,” Groes added.
Online casino supplier Microgaming has announced the launch of a 175,000 multi-player network tournament to mark the release of its new tournament slot Shoot!
Reels de Janeiro begins on 12 June with a capacity for 10,000 players and is set to end on 31 July.
“The countdown to Brazil has already begun and Reels de Janeiro is the perfect tournament for our operators’ players,” James Ford, spokesperson for Microgaming’s multi-player product, said.

EPOS supplier A Bet A has announced it is to launch free trials of its SMS betting scheme following a successful testing period in partnership with Geoff Banks.
“Text message betting used to have serious limitations due to syntax rules and automation,” A Bet A operations manager, Jason Hardman, said.
“But with new artificial intelligence technology that provides instant acknowledgement and natural language interpretation it can be a real aid to customer acquisition and retention.
“Not only is it relevant to smaller operators it can also help those in emerging markets like Africa, where the phone rather than the PC is king. It has sizeable customer recruitment potential,” he added.
Scientific Games-subsidiary Williams Interactive has released its latest slot theme to its Game Server library powered by its Wheel Bonus game engine.
Montezuma is the first online slot powered by the engine after a strong performance in land-based casinos while Williams Interactive has launched its new Lunaris slots title.

Goldrush Gaming Group is set to launch its new online sportsbook GBets.co.za in partnership with turnkey gaming solutions provider BetTech Gaming.
The South Africa-facing site marks Goldrush’s first sports betting venture which is to be backed by an “extensive” media campaign.
“The sports betting market in South Africa is already massive. It is developing by the day and we recognise that it has huge potential for future growth,” Mergan Naidoo, CFO, Goldrush Group.

Titan has announced the release of Titan Bingo, the latest vertical to be launched under the Titan brand.
The new Virtue Fusion-powered product joins Titan Casino, Titan Poker and Titan Bet and features a range of bingo games including 90-ball bingo, chat games and themed bingo rooms.
Akamon Entertainment is to embark on the next phase of its mobile and international development following the completion of a US$4m investment by Axon Partners Group.
The move sees the international development and consulting firm become a majority investor in the Barcelona-based social casino operator and completes an investment round which began in May 2013.
Akamon chief executive Vicenç Marti told eGaming Review the proceeds of this round will be used to strengthen the company’s mobile teams at both a marketing and product development level.
