A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry including Leander Games and Colossus Bets
Platform supplier Leander Games has struck a deal to supply its proprietary and third-party games content to Scandinavia-facing operator Betsson.
The deal will see Leander integrate the games via its remote gaming server platform LeGa and follows the signing of recent agreements with Full Tilt Poker and Paddy Power.
“As a very successful operator, they [Betsson] are not short of gaming options,” Steve Matsell, Leander CEO, said.
“But we now have a portfolio of great performers developed by some of the best games suppliers around,” he added.
Sports wagering software and services specialist Metric Gaming and Hattrick Sports Group has announced a licensing agreement to incorporate Metric’s SuperLive products into Hattrick’s Gaming Platform.
SuperLive – Metric’s flagship product – is optimized for mobile devices, deploys HTML5 and industry-leading push technology, and is powered by Metric’s sophisticated sports analytics to usher in the next generation of in-play betting.
“We have every expectation that this partnership will be a successful one for us both,” said Peter Bertilsson, Metric’s President & CEO. “Hattrick has built an impressive team and an innovative, compelling sportsbook offering, which we believe SuperLive will complement perfectly.”
Pools betting operator and platform provider Colossus Bets has finalised an agreement to distribute its products to sports betting solutions provider ONEWorks.
“We are delighted to begin collaborating with ONEworks, a market-leading sportsbook platform provider whose clients include some of the largest sportsbook operators in the world,” Bernard Marantelli, founder and CEO of Colossus Bets, said.
“This deal will significantly increase access and liquidity to our lottery-sized sports betting jackpots with our patented Fractional Cash-In feature, and takes us a step nearer to our goal of providing the first global £100,000,000 sports pool,” he added.
Reading-based games supplier Realistic Games has signed a deal with Gaming Realms to launch its online slots content on the company’s Spin Genie brand.
The agreement follows the success of a previous deal with Gaming Realms-owned website PocketFruity.com and will see Realistic Games provide its full portfolio of content.
“Gaming Realms has an excellent understanding of the industry and what players want from a gaming site,” Andy Harris, Realistic Games’ commercial director, said.
“They’ve established a number of extremely successful online brands and share our mobile-first philosophy, which is helping to power the growth in a new generation of customers,” he added.
Gaming content provider Vermantia has announced the launch of its virtual games portfolio on Isibet.it.
As part of the deal Vermantia will supply the games to all of Isibit’s partner websites including merkur-win.it and WinToto.it.
“We are delighted to expand our partnership with Isibet in the online space with Vermantia’s top-performing product,” Fabio Massimo Molinari, Vermantia’s commercial manager for Italy, said.
“Isibet’s network of online partners and service capabilities will significantly help us increase our interactive reach in Italy,” he added.
Egaming provider Microgaming is to release a number of new slots tiles this month including Lucky Firecracker, Cricket Star and Golden Era.
The five reel titles are each based on a different theme – Chinese New year, cricket and Hollywood – and include features such as wild tickets, Rolling Reeds and a double feature bonus.
“For February, we’re delivering games with perfectly timed themes,” Mike Hebden, head of casino games at Microgaming, said.

Sports betting and casino operator TLC188 has partnered with TGP Europe to launch a white label on its UK-facing website.

Cherry lottery subsidiary EuroLotto has launched mobile and tablet-optimised sites that customise depending on the device used to access them.
Cherry revamped the EuroLotto brand last year and the new mobile sites include a number of new features including a new ‘game drawer’ function that stores a user’s favourite games for quick access.
EuroLotto has also simplified the ticket purchasing process for the Majestic Millions daily 25m lottery draw and added new Know Your Customer document verification techniques which allow customers to clear security by uploading a picture of ID documents.
Akamon has launched a new portfolio of social casino titles, including video bingo games for the first time.
The new suite of games called VIVA! were created by Akamon’s development studios in Barcelona, Valencia and Tel Aviv, and will initially be released on Facebook in the company’s core markets.
The new games unveiled include bingo, video bingo and slots which the social gaming company said will allow for greater personalisation based on the location of the user.
Daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator DraftKings has sealed a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers to become the National Football League (NFL) team’s official fantasy sports partner.
Under the deal, DraftKings’ logo will appear on digital displays around the Steelers’ Heinz Field stadium, plus the team’s website, mobile app, as well as radio broadcasts and TV shows.
DraftKings will also run a number of competitions to give away tickets to games, and VIP events and experiences.
The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC) has launched a new betting product aimed at driving land-based players to its PlayNow.ca online sportsbook.
The Canadian lotto operator has broadened its deal with OpenBet, which powers its online sports wagering platform, to integrate its Promote system into a new 12-screen sports betting display wall at one of its bricks-and-mortar casinos.
OpenBet said the system, which has been deployed at the Starlight Casino in New Westminster, manages live video feeds, TV, audio, data, HTML, and social media across multiple sports and games.
