A round-up of the latest launches and deals in the egaming industry including Eurobet and EntwineTech
Italian operator Eurobet has become the first operator in the country to launch mobile games provided by US-based gaming supplier International Game Technology (IGT).
The launch will include eight slots titles initially including Treasures of Troy and Cats which are available in HTML5 and on the Eurobet Casino iOS app.
“Being first to market is not just a strategic achievement but also a statement about the quality and the responsiveness of all the Eurobet teams involved in this development,” Marco Trucco, gaming director at Eurobet, said.
“Those who are familiar with the complexity of the Italian compliance know what I’m talking about,” he added.
Live dealer supplier EntwineTech has announced the latest addition to its portfolio of VIP products VIP Baccarat.
The new product includes a number of new features including extended betting time of up to 35 seconds and different table limits.
“Our investment in continuing to expand our range of games is another example of EntwineTech taking the lead in developing the Live Dealer product and comes on the back of a number of recent innovations that have ensured EntwineTech maintains its place as the World’s number one Live Dealer supplier,” Ian Dunning, a spokesperson for EntwineTech, said.
Daily fantasy sports operator DraftKings has made its second acquisition in less than a month acquiring rival operator StarStreet for an undisclosed sum.
The deal comes after DraftKings closed a US$41m round of funding led by The Raine Group, plus existing investors Redpoint Ventures, GGV Capital, and Atlas Venture and follows its takeover of DraftStreet in July.
DraftKings said it would use the funding to enhance its mobile and online platform, grow its workforce, expand its tournament offering, as well as bolstering prize pools including the launch of its new NFL Fantasy Football Millionaire series.
Churchill Downs online horserace wagering platform TwinSpires has entered into an affiliate marketing deal with Income Access for its real-money online bingo brand Luckity.com.

The first interstate progressive slots network between New Jersey and Nevada has gone live, powered by Bally Technologies‘ Cash Connection link.
The Las Vegas-based company said the network will allow land-based jackpots to reach larger amounts more quickly, offering more excitement for players and driving play for operators.

Sports betting affiliate site bettingexpert.com has launched a new app designed help customers make “an informed decision” when placing their bets.
The Betting Odds Calculator app calculates the probability chance a customer’s selection winning from inputted data and informs the customer whether prices on offer on the market rate the bet as worth placing.
The app also enables customers to bet directly with bet365 should they offer higher odds than others on offer.
DoubleDown Interactive will launch a Wheel of Fortune-branded slots game on DoubleDown Casino next month across all platforms.
The Wheel of Fortune Double Diamond game was beta-launched recently to a select group of the app’s players and is set to get a full launch early next month.
The release of the three-reel slot game is the first time that the International Game Technology (IGT) game will be available in land-based casinos, Facebook and on mobile.
Social games developer GSN Games has announced the launch of its latest free-to-play mobile app Solitaire TriPeaks on both iOS and Android.
The 3D game is set in five tropical islands with 18 levels to complete on each and features boosters to complete levels as well as a range of social interaction features including Facebook friends’ profile pictures on the island map and asking for coins.

Social games developer King Digital Entertainment has completed the launch of its hit game Candy Crush Saga in China for the first time.
The three-match puzzle game was released in partnership with Chinese online media giant Tencent with the firm’s flagship product available on Tencent’s mobile messaging app QQ and Weixin Game Centers.
“Tencent, which has the largest mobile social network in China with hundreds of millions of users, is a fantastic partner to work with,” Riccardo Zacconi, CEO of King, said.
