BetVictor partners with VCCP for social boxing marketing play
Ahead of the Sunday morning’s “fight of the century”, BetVictor has launched an online platform that encourages users to tweet support for either Manny Pacquiao or Floyd Mayweather.
TweetRumble converts each tweet into a virtual punch, creating an animation to display who has more support before the fight. The site will also display BetVictor’s latest odds.
“Everyone has an opinion on this fight, our customers included. The ‘fight before the fight’ is a great opportunity to put our social teams to work engaging with boxing fans and bettors alike,” Anton Bell, CMO of BetVictor, said.
Should the platform prove a success, BetVictor plans to use it for future high profile head-to-head events.
