A round-up of the latest launches and sign-ups in egaming including Betsson, STS and Viral Interactive
Betsson has confirmed it has successfully issued a new three-year bond worth a total of SEK 1bn to finance the firm’s acquisition strategy.
“Betsson’s strong balance sheet and cash generation contributed to a large interest in the bond, which was oversubscribed by 48%,”Ulrik Bengtsson, CEO and president of Betsson AB, said.
“The proceeds of the bond gives us increased financial flexibility to act on acquisition opportunities.”
DNB Markets and Swedbank acted as Joint Bookrunners in the issue of the bonds, and Betsson added it intends to apply for a listing of the Bonds on Nasdaq Stockholm.
Polish operator STS has signed a two-year deal with IMG to broadcast sports events through its website and mobile app.
Starting from January 2017, the contract will allow STS to broadcast 20,000 sporting events, including the streaming of football, handball, volleyball, basketball, tennis, and hockey fixtures.
“We are constantly developing additional functionalities for our services, therefore getting ahead of the competition,”Mateusz Juroszek, president of STS, said.
“We want to provide our clients with simple access to a wide range of the most important sports events worldwide.”
Viral Interactive has been awarded a Class 1 on 4 licence with the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), the company has announced.
The multi-channel casino and betting solutions provider said its partner sites will be rolling out one by one on the MGA licence, starting with its own B2C brand luckycasino.com.
“Malta is a renowned licensing jurisdiction, of which we are delighted with the award, of our Class 1 on 4 license,”Daniel Eriksson CEO of Viral, said.
“This is part of our business strategy to become one of the leading providers of regulated digital casino games content.”
Maltese gaming operator Fairbet Group has signed a multi-site platform deal with Win Systems.
The agreement will see Win Systems’ casino management system WIGOS installed across seven sites, connecting 45 terminals, and will give Fairbet a vast array of tools to optimise its offering to players.
The deal marks Win Systems’ first installation of WIGOS in Malta and follows similar agreements in Norway, Ireland and Spain as the Barcelona-based firm continues its expansion in Europe.
