Coral launches betting-based General Election Forecast
Coral has launched a betting-based General Election Forecast that uses the bookmaker’s odds to predict the number of seats each party will win on 7 May.
The Coral Election Forecast (CEF) will update automatically as the General Election odds fluctuate, and the bookie said it is “confident” it will provide an accurate barometer of the outcome.
CEF currently predicts that the Conservatives will win the most seats (285) with Labour winning 264, while the SNP will claim 45 seats, 27 for the Liberal Democrats and 7 for UKIP.
“Over many years of political betting, the odds have consistently proved the most accurate guide to the outcome of Elections and political events and the betting should be taken very seriously as a barometer of the forthcoming General Election,” Coral spokesman Simon Clare, said.

Realistic Games unveils Hi Lo blackjack
Realistic Games has added a new Hi Lo side bet to its blackjack offering that gives players the chance to wager on whether their second card will be higher or lower than the first.
The slots and table games supplier said it wanted to “build on the success” of its blackjack offering by adding a “simple yet devilishly fun side bet”.
“In offering lower pay-out multipliers and much higher return to player margins, we have gone against the typical side bet model,” Realistic Games commercial director Andy Harris, said.
“Yet this will produce more regular winning experiences, and lead to better player engagement as a result,” he added.

“We chose to bring this title to an international audience in HTML5 to cater for players across all devices,” Touchstone Games spokesman Julian Mudd, said.
“We chose Odobo because of its range of modern technologies and the added marketing capabilities via the Odobo Play app,” he added.
