Grosvenor Casino launches Kambi-powered sportsbook
Online casino brand makes online sports betting debut ahead of the European Championships
Grosvenor Casino has unveiled its new online sportsbook product in partnership with sports betting supplier Kambi just in time for the start of Euro 2016.
The Rank Group-owned casino brand’s sportsbook is now live atGrosvenorcasinos.com/sport, following a successful integration of the product into its Bede Gaming platform.
Adam Joseph, director of digital operations for Grosvenor Casinos, said the launch would enable the company to offer customers a more “comprehensive” online experience.
“This is a really exciting time for Grosvenor and the Grosvenor sports betting experience is a key addition to our product set,” Joseph said.
BetVictor unveils “industry-first” personalised bonus tracker
BetVictor has launched its new ‘Promotional Hub’ which allows players to manage their free bets and bonuses through a specific portal on the operator’s website.
The function, which was developed in-house, allows customers to see their available promotions and progress as well as next steps and account history.
The Promotional Hub also combines bonuses across all platforms and verticals into a single wallet.

GVC receives New Jersey green light
GVC Holdings can continue to operate bwin.party in New Jersey after the state’s regulator concluded its preliminary investigation into the firm and its management team.
In a major boost to the London-listed operator, the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) described GVC and its personnel as having “the requisite good character, honesty and integrity” should ever it decide to file for a transactional waiver.
In the meantime the regulator said bwin.party’s current licences would remain valid under GVC’s ownership and would not require a transactional waiver for its existing contacts.
Betclic goes live in Belgium
Betclic-Everest Group has launched its flagship Betclic brand in Belgium as the Paris-based operator continues its expansion into regulated European online gambling markets.
The Betclic.be site went live last week having partnered with land-based casino operator Ardent Group, formerly Circus Group – only those with a retail presence are able to gain online permits – just two days before the start of Euro 2016.
The launch of the online sports betting and casino website comes nine months after eGaming Review revealed the Belgium Gaming Commission had removed Betclic-Everest’s brands from the country’s blacklist.
Mybet sells stake in German horse betting operator
Mybet has sold its stake in German horse betting operator pferdewetten.de AG in attempt to raise enough cash to maintain liquidity in the business.
Last Wednesday, mybet announced the sale of its 1,810,307 shares in the racing site – equivalent to a 50.2% stake – to a collection of individual investors.
The amount of cash raised by the sale was not disclosed but the market price of the shares currently stands at just over ?10m.
Hills targets casual casino market with Ever Adventure partnership
William Hill has signed a deal with online casino operator Ever Adventure which will see the two firms collaborate on new products focused on the casual casino game market.
New products developed by the two companies will be launched on Ever Adventure’s Slotster casino brand and will be aimed largely at recreational players.
“We are constantly exploring new ways to appeal to a wider audience in the casino market and we feel that this partnership will help us along this path,” Crispin Nieboer, William Hill Online managing director, said.
Senet Group unveils Euro 2016 ad campaign
The Senet Group has kicked off a new nationwide advertising campaign to coincide with this summer’s European Championships, the self-regulatory body announced last week.
The new marketing push is designed to encourage responsible gambling throughout the month-long tournament and will feature a new TV advert based on its previously released ‘Bad Betty’ theme.
Adverts will also appear in national newspapers and across social media.
GVC’s CasinoClub debuts Evolution-powered live casino
GVC Holdings brand CasinoClub is set to launch a live casino product for the first time this week in partnership with Evolution Gaming.
CasinoClub joins other GVC brands Sportingbet, bwin and Gioco Digitale in offering an Evolution-powered live dealer offering, with content streamed from the supplier’s Riga and Malta studios.
The brand will offer a wide range of live casino games, including live European and French roulette, immersive roulette, Evolution’s new live baccarat including live baccarat squeeze, live blackjack and live casino hold’em.
NordicBet seals Swedish Hockey League sponsorship deal
Betsson’s NordicBet brand has secured a deal with the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) to become the ice hockey division’s main sponsor and official betting partner.
The operator has sponsored the Champions Hockey League (CHL) since 2014 and has now secured an exclusive partnership with the third highest ranked hockey league in the world.
The firm says the deal will provide customers with unique access to team and player content, real-time game stats and highlights, live streaming of all games, new products and bet offers.
BetBright integrates Racing Post’s new football package
BetBright has become the first bookmaker to integrate the new Racing Post football package on its odds pages.
The bet-prompting content has been integrated into selected matches and offers the customer brief write-ups to help them form opinions across more than 18 different markets.
The package, which includes key stats, predictions and projected line-ups, covers more than 20 worldwide competitions, including Euro 2016.
