A round-up of the latest launches and sign-ups in egaming including Betsson, Yggdrasil Gaming and Tain
Betsson has extended its live casino portfolio after securing a deal with Extreme Live Gaming to integrate its content.
As part of the deal, Betsson will offer Extreme’s Roulette, BlackJack and Baccarat games. In addition, Betsson will add the Live Box Roulette games streamed live from Casino Admiral in Gibraltar.
Content will initially be launched on the group’s flagship brand Betsson.com, with other Betsson brands set to follow in integrating the live casino games.

Tain has launched a new sports betting service offering punters the chance to place wagers on whether incidents will take place within a defined period during a sports event.
The Fast Bet service features markets for football matches including whether there will be a goal, corner, free-kick, goal-kick, red card or throw-in during the period, with Fast Bet also available for other major sports.
Punters need to click on an event and select the timeframe, which could be as little as a single minute.

Yggdrasil Gaming is set to enter the Italian market with its content set to go live in the regulated market later this year.
The Cherry game development arm has begun the process of certifying its games and platform in compliance with Italian technical requirements, with 11 of the supplier’s title going live in the market in Q2 2017.
“We are delighted that Yggdrasil will have a presence in this exciting jurisdiction, and we are already in negotiations with some major operators,” Fredrik Elmqvist, CEO at Yggdrasil Gaming, said. “We plan to vitalise the Italian market further with proven titles and promotional concepts.”
Yggdrasil already has licences in Gibraltar, the United Kingdom, Romania and Malta.
888sport has become the latest operator to join betting integrity body ESSA.
The 888 Holdings brand, which sponsors a host of football clubs including Spanish side Sevilla, will add its customer base and betting market platforms to ESSA’s global anti-fraud alert and reporting system.

Slots and table games provider Habanero is celebrating the Chinese New Year with the launch of its latest HTML5 title, Fire Rooster.
The 5×3-reel slot follows the Chinese legend of a rooster losing its crown in a competition with a centipede and a dragon.
Players are encouraged to spin the reels and help the rooster win back what is rightfully his, as well as big prizes along the way.

Total Performance Data (TPD) has agreed a deal with Argentinian racecourse Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo to supply its race timing technology.
As part of the deal, TPD will install its technology at the track in Buenos Aires, which permits it to distribute the resulting data worldwide, independent of picture rights.
TPD uses the latest GPS/GNSS technology, facilitating data for in-running odds generation and a host of racing metrics including sectional times, race pace, mid-race positioning and energy distribution.
“Our partnership with Total Performance Data is very exciting,” Antonio Bullrich, president of the Racing Commission at Hipódromo Argentino de Palermo, said. “We have been searching for a technology provider who can offer this type of tracking and data.”
Lightning Box Games has struck a distribution agreement with Everi Games Inc, supplier of Class II and Class III electronic gaming content.
The Sydney-based developer will provide Everi Games with a number of its proprietary games for Everi Games’ HDX and Player HD gaming cabinets.
The first two titles from Lightning Box’s portfolio, Silver Pride and More Fire, will be introduced to North American casinos this month, with additional titles expected to roll-out later in the year.
