NetEnt to launch big data-driven media buying service
NetEnt has partnered with marketing technology business Ve Global to develop a media buying platform for online casino operators.
The technology pairs Ve’s proprietary platform with NetEnt’s statistical insights to build an anonymous understanding of an operator’s audience, to help it produce targeted advertising campaigns.
The provider said the service will help reduce player acquisition cost and drive retention by offering access to unique audience data and behavioural insights.
It will also allow operators to be more accurate in their marketing strategies and reduce marketing spend.
Cherry given green light for Nasdaq Stockholm listing
Cherry AB will commence trading on Nasdaq Stockholm later this month, after having its listing approved by the Swedish stock exchange’s committee.
The operator will cease trading on the independent exchange AktieTorget on 17 October, after which it will transfer its shares onto the Nasdaq exchange.
“Cherry is a profitable and rapidly-growing gaming company covering the entire value chain, from technology to consumer,” Cherry CEO Anders Holmgren said.
“The listing on Nasdaq Stockholm will provide us with increased exposure to the Swedish and the international capital markets.”
Danish Gambling Authority to launch separate remote gambling office
The Danish Gambling Authority (Spillemyndigheden) has restructured its internal operations and launched a new remote gambling division.
Staff have been split into four new offices dedicated to lottery and monopoly, slot machines and responsible gambling, finance, policy and market analysis and remote gambling.
Each office will be responsible for dialogue, guidance, and issuing licences, and will act as a direct point of contact for operators in Denmark.
Betfair upgrades Exchange cash-out
Betfair has upgraded its Exchange cash-out offering with the launch of new functionality where users can cash-out bets on several markets on the same event, in one place.
The feature, launched last week, offers users more flexibility than the old system where they could only manage multiple cash-out offers from the My Bets tab
EGR understands the upgrade is not part of the ongoing platform work at Paddy Power Betfair which has seen product development grind to a halt, as the Exchange sits on a different platform to the two sportsbooks.
However, a Betfair spokesperson told EGR the ongoing work would indeed benefit Paddy Power’s cash-out functionality, which will use Betfair technology going forward.
